Hello and welcome to JungleBugs.co.uk, this website is part of The Living Jungle group, the owner Neil Trickett has been working in Herpetology since 1999.
We have captive breeding facilities in Tanzania, Uganda and we are currently setting another on up in Nigeria. We breed the animals for the pet trade and some get released back into the wild.
We specialise in Pygmy Chameleons, the infomation we provide has been collected by ourselves by observing the animals in the wild and converting this info to captive keeping and breeding. The work we have done includes observing them in wild in large groups and small groups. How they interact with each other and reproduce along with taking temp and humidity readings and making notes on their natural Bioactive eco system.
